Introduction

The Guildhall building is home to this first-floor apartment, which is next to the English Heritage site of Blakeney Guildhall and just steps away from Blakeney Quay.

Water’s Edge affords stunning views over the Quay, the Marshes and beyond to Blakeney Point from the glass balcony. Both bedrooms also offer views over Mariner’s Hill and the coast beyond.

Steps away from the quay, with on the doorstep, shops, restaurants and cafes, a delicatessen and galleries galore.

Water’s Edge is a lovely place to retreat to after a day outside enjoying the fresh Norfolk sea air and will appeal to couples.

Inside

The entrance holds an exterior boot room, perfect for outdoor coats, shoes and boots.

Through the main door into the  entrance hall leads into a  beautifully decorated, west facing living and lounge area, with large sliding French-style doors opening onto the glass balcony with wonderful views of the quay, salt marshes, and the historic High Street. Full floor length dress curtains adorn the large windows with sheer voiles for privacy.

Painted furniture alongside glass coffee and side tables complement the light atmosphere with a sofa and armchairs. There is a round dining table and chairs.

The shower room is bespoke and features a fully fitted Burlington shower with a main overhead shower & secondary handheld. There are fitted cupboards and shelves for toiletries and storage and a radiator with towel rail.

Outside

Water’s Edge has the delight of a small glass balcony off the living and lounge  room, with a bistro table and chairs, perfect for admiring the glorious views over Blakeney Quay.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

The main king bedroom offers views over Mariner’s Hill towards the coast at Cley Next Sea. It holds a luxurious king size rattan style French bed, large floor standing mirror, a Netflix enabled TV and built in wardrobes with plenty of hanging space. The adjacent king bedroom hosts views towards Blakeney Marshes, a king size handmade ornate metal bed frame, chest of drawers and built-in wardrobe with ample hanging space. Bedrooms have hairdryers in each.

Practicalities

The integrated kitchen is contemporary and sleek with pale grey units and white granite worktops with a range of cupboards housing Emma Bridgewater & Burleigh Pottery crockery and glassware. A fan oven, extractor fan and induction hob, combination microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine, full height fridge freezer and plentiful cupboard space. There is a Nespresso coffee machine. Complimentary teas, instant coffee and sugar too.

Entertainment is provided with a Sony 43” SMART television, Netflix enabled, a Blu Ray DVD player and Ruark R4 integrated music system with CD player and Bluetooth streaming. There is a wide selection of films, DVD’s, and CD’s for your enjoyment along with local interest, guidebooks and reading books. Traditional board games, playing cards and dominoes.

Carnser Car Park – this Quayside car park is jointly owned and managed by Blakeney Parish Council and The National Trust. This is a pay & display car park with the exceptions of members of the National Trust who may park free of charge.

Coronation Car Park – managed by Blakeney Parish Council, this car park on the High Street has two sections, with one side of the car park being pay and display for visitors. You can pay with coins and contactless cards.
